The 2018-19 winter was a tribute to Yash and Rocky Bhai. The tall, handsome actor's casual dialogues in the film KGF Chapter 1 were the talk of the town on social media. It was a major moment in pop culture in Indian cinema's history. And we were not disappointed since, even before the launch of KGF: Chapter 1 There was an enormous buzz surrounding the film and it was the biggest expensive Kannada film to ever be made. It was released in over 1,800 theaters.
KGF: Chapter 1 delivered big time becoming a nationwide blockbuster. The film was a visually pleasing masala entertainerwith exciting action sequences that were enthralling, terrific dialogues coupled with Yash's charisma. All together proved to be an amazing experience for the fans.
Although critics were divided on their opinions about the film but the audience was overwhelmingly supportive. Rocky Bhai and Yash went on to become a multi-national star.
WHAT WAS KGF: CHAPTER 1 ALL ABOUT?
KGF: Chapter 1 is a non-linear story as the author of a published book that is banned (Anand) narrates his tale of Rocky Bhai to a television channel editor. An ambitious Rocky is introduced as a ten-year-old boy living in Mumbai with memories of his mother's dying wish was that he becomes wealthy by any means. As he matures and becomes more influential, so does his power within his place in the Bombay underworld. He receives an assignment from the main man controlling the Bombay underground to eliminate the powerful gold mafia Survyavardhan's son Garuda, who is the heir apparent of the whole gold smuggling operation as kgf full form (KOLAR GOLD Fields). Kolar Gold Fields is a mining area located in K.G.F. taluk, Kolar district, Karnataka.
Rocky takes on the mission but when he starts to know the amount of money and power behind the KGF operations, greed takes over. He disguises himself as a labourer and goes into the goldfields however, he is moved by the hardships of miners and chooses that he will fight to protect them.While Rocky is successful in the mission of killing Garuda his additional responsibility as the messiah for the miners plays out in this breathtaking visual extravagantwith several whistle-worthy sequences.
ROCKY - THE UNDERDOG HERO
Yash was an excellent Rocky Bhai and his toned physique actually made it believable that he could slay a 100 people. The over-the-top action scenes fit perfectly into the script and were very entertaining. The initial nonchalance of Rocky Bhai that later transforms into compassion for the labourers struggling was adored by his fans.
WHAT SHOULD WE EXPECT FROM KGF: CHAPTER 2?
KGF Chapter 2 is expected to showcase how he will rebuild the KGF empire while climbing to the top. The female lead, Srinidhi Shetty as Reena, had very limited screen time, as the macho element of Rocky Bhai made him the USP for the debut instalment. As the film gains more popularity, expected to be in the sequel instalment, Reena will have to contend to get screentime. However, be prepared for a lot of unexpected twists.

There's also a bit of mystery surrounding Rocky's story in KGF: Chapter 1, which might be addressed in the second part for shocking revelations. The first film does not provide a clear explanation of how the author came to know the story of Rocky, and what the reason was behind why the Government of India prohibited his book. KGF: Chapter 2 might show the connection between Anand, the author, and Rocky.
In KGF Chapter 1 Suryavardhan's gold mafia boss brother Aadheera had not yet staked claim to the throne since he had been preparing to be a leader to his nephew. Since Rocky Bhai has killed Garuda, Aadheera is likely to make a claim to the throne and face a rival in Rocky.
Sanjay Dutt as Adheera pitted against Yash as Rocky Bhai will be a joy for viewers. Raveena Tandon in the role of Prime Premier Ramika Sen is also said to be playing a distinct character, with shades of grey.
